Costume: Inoue Orihime (Hueco Mundo) - BleachWell, ACen came and went, but here she is! I can't seem to not where Orihime to a con. She was my first cosplay, but I am still pretty darn proud of her. Just ignore the badge for now.
The photographer, Sam, caught me before I was heading up to my hotel room to change into Nia, so this was the first shot. Then he asked if he could take more photos of me, and I was like, "What the hell, why not!" So there are more pictures to come, but he is an AMAZING photographer, and I'm so glad I got to work with him.

What kind of material did you use for your Orihime?!

I used spandex for the leotard part, and then white stretch poplin for the rest! It gives just enough stretch so that the jacket can be super tight, but gives enough room for me to move my arms.

Oh nice! So you made it into a leotard and then made the skirt part of it instead of a whole one piece? Sorry I'm a bit confused xD

Haha, no worries! But you are correct. I made the leotard to go underneath everything. The jacket/cape part is separate, and the skirt is separate, and underneath the skirt is the hakama. And over the skirt is the black belt! XD I made A LOT of separates for this outfit. It just fits better having done so.
