may I ask some advises for the decorative pin and the headpiece? I'm a young cosplayer on my own. The brooch is really beautiful!

The brooch is actually a variety of metal jewelry pieces that I glued together (with E6000). I got all the pieces at Jo-Ann's. The supplies for the holder (ribbons and tassels) were also purchased at Jo-Ann's.
The headpiece is made out of veg tanned leather. I painted it with acrylics. It attaches to the wig via magnets so it is easy to put on and take off.

I'm curious how the headpiece would work, as it's supposed to be 'floating'

You can see the headpiece here: [link]
The headpiece is veg tanned leather that I soaked in water, then heated into shape, and painted with Silver Lumiere paint (outside) and Americana Dark Grey paint (inside). Four magnets are epoxied to the center inside part. Those magnets have magnet buddies that are attached to the base wig. So, the base wig goes on first, I move a little hair out of the way, place the headpiece in the center, and let the magnets do their thing. It makes the headpiece appear to float and it is very easy to attach/dis-attach.
