Yeah, I can see how that would be an issue; just be careful in selecting a compression vest that you get one that constricts your ability to breathe. Breathing is sorta important and all. XD Give it your best shot, though! I'm pretty goofy looking when crossdressed myself, so don't feel too bad if your first time dressing up doesn't go quite as planned. ^^

It was actually at the Northern Kentucky University, and is a youth summit held by GLSEN every other year. It's basically for educating GLBTQ..etc. youth and allies about everything from self defense to STD's to safe sex to cross dressing tips. There were a TON of fun workshops! They also had a free HIV/AIDS testing area. Then at the end of the day there was a free catered dinner and a show consisting of a drag show/talent show. My schools GSA ended up all singing "Be a Man" from Mulan together!

I think it would be much more fun with a friend! 83 Of course my boyfriend will support me, but he doesn't know a thing about cross-dressing. XD

Man, I feel kinda bummed that I never got to go to anything like that... that sounds so awesome! We have a pretty vibrant GLBTQ community and scene here, for what it's worth, but it so often gets drowned out by the much louder, much more right-wing perspective of most of the Nashville area. I don't know if we've had events like that recently in our area, although that might just be my disconnect from the GLBTQ community here that has me out of the loop. That really sounded like an awesome summit though, and I'm really glad you had the opportunity to attend something like that!
But yeah! Unfortunately, I'm coming from the wrong direction to offer you much advice as far as presenting as male; I know a couple of people on tumblr who might have some better info than I have, if you really get stuck, so just shoot me a note if you need anything.
And arrrrrggghhhh I went through all of my clothes the other day and I have no idea how much of it is actually still going to fit me >.< I literally haven't crossdressed in years, and part of me is kind of anxious about it because I'm older and I know my body shape has changed and I know, I just know, I'm going to look way more awkward than I used to trying to present as female. I still want to try, though, because a deal's a deal and I really do enjoy it.
