I'm pleased to introduce you to Flint. Flint is an American Kestrel. Do not underestimate him based upon his size. He is a bird of prey!Let's have a little fun! Most of you birders out there will know this. But is a Kestrel a Hawk or a Falcon?
I adore this little predator nonetheless...another photo of him to follow!

I had these around my area for a few years,they nested and raised young ones, then they ripped up the earth and put in an industrial park... haven't seen one now in over 6 years...only migrants passing through. I really miss them.

He looks a smart bird, and I agree about not judging these guts by their size. He will be a stone cold killer of small birds and rodents.
