Long time ago, Artistic--License tagged me for 8 facts for Linktale Alphys, and so now that I actually have a design for her, here we go!

1. Alphys is one of the monsters with enough determination of their own to become potential leaders in the Neutral Endings, have deja vu if Frisk and Chara befriended them before in a past Timeline, and especially be Saved within Asriel God of Hyperdeath in Undertale.

2. Due to a DT Overflow glitch Frisk has, they granted Alphys and the other fate changing monsters a fraction of the Anomaly's power in order to protect them, with a consequence of them remembering their three previous timelines like Frisk was forced to. Alphys and others chose to use what they learned and the abilities granted to them to protect the Future of Humans and Monsters, thus becoming Link Guardians and the world Linktale.

3. Alphys dated Undyne for months in two separate Pacifist timelines (Second and Current) before getting married in the current timeline, and often wears Undyne's color in her outfits and adorns her wedding ring. She became more outgoing and confident due to her connections with Undyne, Mettaton, Papyrus, Sans, and their human friends, but she's still an introvert at heart and would rather watch anime while having yogurt during downtime than hitting the town.

4. First (Dreemur Familicide Empress Undyne ending) and Third Timelines (Genocide stopped after Sans' death) made Alphys want to prepare better ways to prevent the Fallen Human from killing again and poured her pain and grief into making a weapon for Sans' Blaster meant to disable the body instead of shatter the SOUL: the Armored Blaster Jaws.

The Armored Blaster is to be used by Sans to potentially crush limbs and shield against the weapons that Frisk wield. She chose Sans since she learned he has the ability to bring items from one timeline to another and the will and skill to fight. Frisk approved of this measure Alphys made knowing if they were to reset and kill again, they're not the one in control.

5. Alphys was inspired by Flowey, Frisk, Chara, Sans, and a human named Dr. Renata to get back into her studies of SOULs and Determination after healing from her Amalgam debacle twice. She made the portable Determination Extractor based on Gaster's original, and with ripple proof memories, Frisk's short Reloads called Undos, and many many tries on her side, she dialed in her device and separated Lemon Bread since the parts weren't happy at all together. This and the truth about Flowey made her dedicated to bring back other monsters from dust with Renata and Sans by her side, and Frisk and Chara providing Undo support.

6. To be more specific with the last post, Alphys and the other monsters learned about human organ transplants, blood drawings, plasma donations, and the like from Renata after she showed her card as an example of the types of IDs that the Monsters need to carry and saw “Organ Donor” on it. This got Alphys curious if a program is possible for humans and monsters to donate parts of their SOUL, as she knows that some aspects can already be extracted. With approval later down the line, her new connections and the fact that Monster SOULs are much much much weaker and simpler than human SOULs, she developed tools to make Monster SOULs from extracted human traits.

7. Alphys learned how to use Runes which can enchant non magical objects in making Mettaton and more when magic returned to the surface. The Jaws are made out physical metal adorn with runes to have it stick to the Blaster and a binding rune on a heart-shaped mold to fuse Human SOUL traits together to make Monster SOULs. The end result of a latter is a white SOUL with a rainbow edge. The SOUL could be used to either bring back Monsters from dust without them being soulless or capture human soulless spirits that would otherwise become demons in a rune adorn Lock Locket and give them the chance to become Monsters themselves.

8. The previous timeline memories and her theory of alternate universes got Alphys and Sans curious into looking further of the subject thanks to the Anomalies Flowey and especially Chara as they have the ability to connect to us the Players and possibly going to other worlds. They worked with Berwin, a quantum computer tech support worker, to build a machine called the Timeline Viewer which allows them to look into our and other worlds. They agreed to keep it secret from the rest of the population to avoid exploitation and a shattering of their sense of reality.

In short, she's still a shy gay tech nerd, but with ambition to use the gifts given to her to make up for mistakes, undo the damage to her kind. and explore possibilities outside of her world.
