YOU SHOULD ALSO PROBABLY STOP READING THIS COMMENT; I AM ABOUT TO MAKE IT BLATANTLY WORSE.
And we wondered why GLaDOS is ax-crazy. Granted Caroline can't have been the paragon of sanity to begin with, considering who she worked for and hero-worshipped. But stick a couple of crazy voices in ANYONE's head and let's see how long they last before they decide that, why, sadistic revenge on the people who did that would be a fantastic idea.
Oh, wait, she probably already decided revenge would be a fantastic idea after they forcefully crammed her mind into a computer.
You know what doesn't rhyme with mind rape?
Neurotoxin.
Oops.
But the crazy-bitch GLaDOS is the one we all learned to love. 8D

You did such an awesome depiction of Caroline turning into GLaDOS. You captured the beginning of her rage and insanity, especially with her hand clutching her face and the one robotic eye visibly showing.

And even more on a heavy impact given the fact that it was released short after Portal 2 (yes, I actually read the descriptions 
In May 2011 I would have had probably not more to say. But after reading a fanfic which I think is also really awesome [link] [last chapter] it reminds me of a lot of things concerning dreams, nightmares or hopes.

You're one of the few artists that I think nailed GLaDOS perfectly. I'm sick of seeing these white-haired androids or vocaloid copies. But you went right back to her origin and drew from that, the way people should be doing; and you captured it perfectly. I'm properly scared, horrified, and intimidated by this drawing as I am by GLaDOS herself throughout Portal and Portal 2.

I'M GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THIS. Like "Holy crap, does this mean Caroline was insane too? Or did she just mean the cores were the voices in her head?" I'm of the variety that believes GLaDOS is Caroline and not just the sentient fuel-line deicer they happened to put memory files and personality data into. Twisted beyond recognition, maybe, but Caroline all the same. I feel like...we're watching GLaDOS deny that fact as much as she tries but failing miserably. The induced schizo doesn't help. Quite a large number of people believe otherwise, it seems. I guess the argument would stem from "Caroline deleted." (which is SUCH a lie imo. Suuuuuure it'd be that easy. It's so easy that GLaDDY (XD) didn't bother doing exactly that for the couple of hours Chell was out. Right.)

YOU'RE SO RIGHT! My face immediately fell when it was all "CAROLINE DELETED" but in "Want You Gone" she obviously still feels some sort of conflicted feelings for you. (That and the translated lyrics of Cara Mia are a dead giveaway that she sees Chell in a good light now.)

I'm surprised at just how sympathetic Portal 2 managed to make GLaDOS. I mean, sure, before you kind of feel bad for her when you get this nagging suspicion that she's really just lonely, but KNOW she's crazy and evil and trying to kill you and that's not pleasant. Now, she's still crazy and evil and for a while tried to kill you and, other than the fact that supercomputers with the infinite capacity for knowledge is NEVER a good idea in fiction, we learn exactly why...

Yes really, I kind of felt like even though she was trying to make herself seem evil and angry that she probably didn't want to let chell go because she would have missed her, she just kept still trying to make herself seem evil and crazy. >_>
