I lately got stuck with the idea that, in order for my photography to be worthy enough, I have to use unusual concepts/ heavy manipulation/ symbolism. This hindered my creative flow because I was putting too much pressure on myself.

For me, constraints of any kind (internal and external) are just stopping the creative process. Too much thinking makes the flow less abundant.
I found my creative spring in something that's outside the cold, rational control of the mind. And when it finally sticks its head out, I have to surrender in order to bloom.

Now I am trying to redefine my idea about what a good creative construct is for me. Sometimes it lies in simplicity: colors, shadows, contrast are just as good in creating a meaningful impression as other lush ways of editing..
