Description This picture was taken this summer in Athens, Greece. The flag is located on the very top of the Acropolis. It was tremendously hot this way, 42 C / 108 F in the shade... and there is no shade on top of the Acropolis.

I said it once and I'll say it again... this is one of my favourite pictures. I can't believe you had the patience to take this picture in that heat especially when I was bitching and complainign about it being so damn hot haha! You're a talented boy Gruffster!

Amongst all the photos, i find the composition on this one's strikingly attractive and deserves a standing ovation! To actually capture this on an angle which wont flare into ur lense and under the sweltering greece heat, i really applaud u for this, dude! LoL! You ROCK!

This is bloody great! Spectacular use of exposition, great timing and lovely contrast. The monochrome tones dominate the photo, but it turns out colourful and very expressive. You've outdone yourself with the composition too. Technically, I find this is your best shot yet...

Yea, I had to wait a while to get the perfect picture as the flag was moving a lot. I only took one picture though, but looked at it on the display on the camera to make sure it was alright. Didnt wanna stand up there in the crazy heat for too long.
