Description
I was required by a class to take a photograph of something "ugly" in a beautiful way...and then write a haiku about it.

This is the inside of a slinky. Slinkies maybe aren't seen as ugly objects right away, but they sure aren't beautiful.

Here is the haiku I wrote:

Everyone loves me,
I do fall gracefully
from the highest stair.

I got the "everyone loves me" part from the slinky song..."Everyone loves a slinky, a slinky, a slinky! Everyone loves a slinky, GO slinky GO!

The photo was taken with a Nikon N55 manual camera in black & white and developed in a studio. I'm not a super awesome photographer, but I think it turned out well.
