Here's another drawing to throw some more dust off my desk here xD So here's another picture from last year. So my friend has a Godzilla project going on (I think he's put it on hold now) called Legacy and thought of doing a concept for it based of one of the newest kaiju, that Legendary introduced in Godzilla: King of the Monsters which that is Behemoth (AKA Manny from Ice Age on steroids) which is basically well...a giant mammoth xD Okay not a giant mammoth 100% but with some sloth elements into it and a short trunk. So my idea for Legacy's version of Behemoth was to explore it more and well decided to use gorillas and other prehistoric elephants as references (Such as the gomphotherium for example) and a rejected concept design for Behemoth where he really is just a giant mammoth xD cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/i… (The one on top) while still using the original design as a base. Also as you can see I added mutliple tusks to +1 the monster feeling and gave him a more chunkier and longer-while short trunk. Sadly it got rejected by my friend as he only targets to include Toho only kaiju but still I think it came out neat overall I might reuse it if I do my own Godzilla themed project who knows.
