"Mom, I'm sorry... Don't go..." Despite having passed out from pure exhaustion not long ago , the young woman named Sephira who had suddenly referred to Allie and Dyne as "Mom and Dad" could only cry and moan in her sleep. The two had been able to cover her up, bring her back to the cabin, and let her rest in a bed. However, the moment they had tried to step out and let her rest, her hand shot out and grabbed Dyne's wrist. Knowing she subconsciously didn't want to be left alone, Dyne took a seat next to her and simply held onto that hand.

"It's okay," Allie softly assured her from the other side. "Mom's here." She had to repeat that several times before Sephira again fell back into a more restful slumber, but tears continued to stain her cheeks.

"You say that so naturally, Allie-chan," Dyne whispered and winked as Allie moved back over to sit next to him. "And I think both of us are still feeling the same level of shock right now."

"I definitely have questions," Allie responded with an equally soft voice. "Right now I feel like I have reasons to believe her and reasons to not believe her at the same time. She was very clearly in shock after something traumatic when we found her, so she may have mistaken us for someone else. And yet, she's wearing the same kind of pendant that I am. But that's not all... And words just can't explain it right now."

"Something along the lines of, 'It just sounded right to hear her call you that?'" He asked.

"I think so," Allie nodded. "She called me 'Mom' and something in both my mind and heart just clicked. It felt like I knew she wasn't lying or mistook me for someone else. Even though I'm far too young to have a daughter her age..."

"I felt the same on how it just clicked," Dyne set his free hand on Allie's. "It's not like how I felt the first time Sophie called me 'Daddy' after I decided to adopt her and my heart just melted. Hearing it from Sephira here just sounds... natural."

"She does look a bit like you," Allie looked between them. "What do you think?"

Dyne looked back at the sleeping girl, whose expression had softened since she'd calmed down again. "She's beautiful. And no doubt she got that from her mother."

Allie felt a bit of a blush rising in her cheeks upon hearing that, even though she had no reason to feel so complimented. But, upon hearing that, she had the same feeling upon being called "Mom" earlier, as it just felt so... right. She didn't say anything more for the next little bit as her mind began to make the full connection.

"Could she really be our child from her timeline...?" Allie voiced her thoughts after a few more moments of silence, only to feel her hand being squeezed.

"It's entirely possible, given the infinite possibilities," he gave her a soft smile. "You're already proof of how the same person can cross world lines and MOMO-chan came from the future. So why not a combination of both?"

"If I were a normal woman from around here, I'd have no reason to believe you, but..." Allie grasped her own pendant with her free hand. "Having seen it for myself, denying it would only be for denial's sake and I'd be refusing to see what's right in front of me."

"It's okay to feel a bit shocked over all this, but you're taking it quite well, all things considered."

"I've had a strong support network. My 'sister' and her friends welcomed me with open arms. And of course I'd have been lost here without your help..." She looked up at him and smiled a bit while another blush began to form.

"I do what I can, my dear," he leaned his face in closer to hers as she closed her eyes. However, just as their lips were about to meet-

"Daddy, is everything okay?" Sophie poked her head into the room. "MOMO told me she looked over someone new you found tonight, but you didn't follow her when she left."

"Sorry about that, Sophie," Dyne chuckled a bit nervously as he and Allie looked over. "I've still been needed in here. Come on in, but keep your voice down to let her rest."

"Who is this?" Sophie stepped inside and took a closer look at Sephira. Her face remained neutral as she tilted her head.

"Well, if what she told us is true, she may well be your sister."

"Sister...?" Sophie blinked as she let that word sink in. "That would mean... I'm a big sister...? Daddy, I'm starting to feel... happy." A smile began appearing on her face.

"Her name's Sephira," Dyne nodded as Sophie also took a seat to watch over her. "Feel free to stay here with us as long as you want. Though, if you start feeling tired yourself, it'll be better to sleep in your own bed."

"Okay, Daddy," Sophie nodded and said nothing else as she joined in watching over the new arrival.

"That's a pretty bold claim," Allie whispered again. "We know so little about her and you're getting Sophie's hopes up like that."

"Like I said earlier," Dyne replied, "It came out naturally. We'd have to see what Sephira thinks about it all in time, of course, but what kind of Dad would I be if I wasn't willing to look after her?"

"So she's won you over already," Allie snickered a bit. "Though, looking at her, she looks a little older than Sophie. Are you sure she's going to be the 'little' sister?"

Dyne just shrugged. "Given the circumstances, I'll probably have to leave it up to the two of them to sort that one out."
