Rainy days give me inspiration O-OHere's my long overdue part in trade with the amazing and very talented *Lucky978
I cannot express to you how much I enjoyed doing this character! He has such a personality!
I hope you enjoy this piece, I really do! I will say, I am deeply sorry i didn't do a background...I..I just can't do them ;n;
And I was pitch afraid to ruin this picture...

The brand..? I use Koi Watercolors
there are two main types of watercolor (from what I've seen and used)
there's solid www.jerrysartarama.com/images/... (Easier for beginners) and one like you mentioned, from tubes cdn.dickblick.com/items/003/78... (which looks like acrylic or oil paint)Β
Koi makes both, and at the moment, I use more of the tubes then I do of the solidsΒ
a good starter brand would be Reeves, they're cheap and work great for their price.

Watercolor paper lol xD
for brands, I would suggest going for Fluid or Strathmore, which are better and more reliable (from what I've used. I haven't used too many brands, for I am still a beginner myself lol)
but be warned, there are very bad brands that will mess up you paintings, and make them look terribleΒ
I've used far too many of these brands, and there are two that have been so bad, I remembered their names to warn others
Borden & Riley (absolutely the WORST paper I've ever used) and Canson
Trust me when i say this, it's not worth saving a little money and going for the cheaper paper brands, they all turn out to be rubbish
I've learned this the hard way far too many times.Β

AHHH I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS.
And what are you doing complaining about that background? It is absolutely gorgeous! I love the watercolor and splatter effect 
And dat wolf. OMG. Fell looks absolutely 1000% incredible! I love the fur, love the pose, love the markings AAHHH. Just everything is to die for. I love the white highlights in the fur. And HE'S HOWLING. :3 Dawww haha I love it!

I am so glad you! I didn't have a very light green (I need to get one) so I'm sorry the markings are a bit hard to see :T
And I was going to throw in a small white ghost wolf as his 'mate' but couldn't find the courage xD
