Dude, you were like a brother to me
You and I were our only family

Our families were so different
I know your life was fucked up
Now I remain wondering, feeling empty inside
I wish I could have done something else to help you
I know it's not your fault for what you had gone through
I felt your pain; I could see it in your eyes
But that's life man, but I so wish I could have changed that
I still have the scars when we burned our arms
As a sign of everlasting friendship
That I hoped would never break apart
Man I miss you
And I wish I could change it back
But I can't stop grieving

Sad. Beautifully written because within it is your heart, your emotion, your memories. I think writing comes from one's soul, sometimes from your gut, ya know?, it is always the truth for that person. My thoughts are with you. You are a good friend.

losing a best friend is one of the most painful things, i bet. there are sacred things shared only between good friends, things that we can't let our own families know, stuff that you can show only to that person. and that makes them special, and losing them is like losing a big part of your own life.
if only wishes and words can bring them back...

man.. today I keep crying, only I cant cry.. so many things upsetting, and this is just deeply sad, I sort of know how you feel too.. but no one can know exactly how anyone feels about anything.
