Every time I see this I think of the movie V for Vendetta... I dont know why...
This is my favorite piece of artwork I have ever seen.

The hair reminds me of waves in how they cascade over her hands and into a pool of hot pink. And the story behind this drawing is so captivating, something I believe that lies deeper than the alluring shades of black and white.

this is beautiful! Seriously impressed, you have a really incredible illustration style, your picture reminds me a little bit of Cruella Devill, it has that evil smoky mood to it.

It's pretty ambiguous. The use of black and white is a visual clue that clues us into a relationship of exact opposites and that automatically leads me into the relationships between good and evil, love and hate, war and peace (ahem, creation rather). I can read a lot into this image. But, I don't necessarily have an understanding of which figure represents which attribute. That's only played on more by the uncertainty of which hand belongs to whom.
Just my immediate reaction ^_^.
