Wow I really channeled her anger there, sorry. I am tired. Okay, back to what I was saying, my headcanon is and forever will be that Gorn don’t have sexual dimorphism. So all the Gorn you see could be male of female and there’s really no way to tell unless they outright say it because they all have deep voices and muscular bodies.

Realistically speaking, I don't know who these "racist aliens" would be other than humans. Permanent breasts only evolved once on Earth, and only one surviving species actually has them. So even among the warm blooded, viviparous, milk producing placentals, the development of big titties would be astronomically rare, especially among aliens where none of our standard classifications, such as mammal or reptile, would even apply to them.

I agree, Gorn strike me as being far too reptilian to have mammalian traits like breasts. Cardassians strike me as being evolved from Synapsids, creatures who are like the mid way point between reptiles & mammals, whereas Gorn are full fledged reptiles. I THINK the Star Trek video game based off the abbrams verse had female gorn, but I dunno what they look like (they're all very reptilian from what i can tell though).
If there were some kind of sexual dimorphism, I'd rather it be something like different scale coloration or head crests or something. Blue scales with head spines and what appears to be a narrower snout works well for a female Gorn, nice job. BTW, are her eyes compound like the TOS Gorn?

I justify it with Cardassians by treating them as therapsids rather than reptiles, but for real reptiles, I totally agree.

I actually have never seen a canon lady Gorn though, which is why I just go with the "everyone's buff and why not since lizards don't have much sexual dimorphism." xD For Cardassians I'm totally with you, I consider them to be of therapsids as well, so the boobs don't bother me. :]

I'm in the school that thinks aliens would understand and see past our inability to inherently understand their differences. Just as they would likely apply cultural and species expectations on others as weird or confusing.

I think some would be more understanding than others, just how some humans are more open-minded than others. The blanket idea that an entire species would be okay with the constant over-looking of 50% of it's population due to our trouble telling them apart is pretty... generous. lol For any inability we might have, really.
I'm of the school that aliens are no better or worse than us, some would be forgiving and understanding, some would hate our guts for our short-comings. :]
