These dolls are representing the ancient mother goddess. She's been with us since the stone-age, just as a mother is always there since the birth. Our ancestors made the idols of the goddess of wood or stone, small enough to be easy to carry with them, and they were easy to hold while praying to HER for protection, fertility, comfort and good luck. I made these dolls out of felt fabric and stitched them by hand with golden thread. They are very comfortable to hold, they easily fit into your palm. Their hands locked above their heads, creating an unbreakable, protective circle around the seat of the soul, aka the head. Each one fo them has an embrodiered spiral on their womb, representing the female center and the gravity of birth and fertility.
You can keep this idol close to you, since it's not very big or you can add it to your own altar.
