This series explores the more emotional side of men — with men wearing floral prints, standing in a garden of flowers, and just a touch of masculinity expressed through their ginger beards.

If you follow my Instagram stories, then you’ll know that I love the men that Zakalwe404 creates. Besides the imperfections that Zakalwe404 adds to his men for realism, all of them have this je ne sai quoi type of look that’s really hard to describe. We chat a lot on Discord, and often share works and workflows with each other. Yesterday, he shared one of his latest works of men with ginger hair, framed by unfinished ink illustrations, using a technique that he developed on his own.

I asked if he would mind if I take his prompts and gave my own spin on them, and he kindly agreed. That’s what these images are — the men of Zakalwe404, with that indescribable expression, rendered in my own styles, using techniques that I developed that uses images in control nets for style and color. I will now simply refer to this technique as #RefShuffle , so you can look them up more easily on my site.

I also tried Virile Fantasy for the first time — a new model developed by Scratchproof, who’s behind all the Virile SD models.
