Oh, Issue 6! When we first learned for certain that James lives on our tears!did a whole bunch of EPIC (EPIC!) commissions at AA. I asked if I could color this one, because I just really like the feel of it -- like just one of the many long sessions they had together as Rung tried to help Max process all his crap. I

I worry that my colors haven't really added anything of worth to the pic, as the original is great in grayscale and my colors quickly got muddy. That background:

Sprite just told me that this is actually Red Alert, and I feel very silly for not noticing that. Blast! I'm not sure if I'll go back and recolor the whole thing or not -- laziness and general blahs are rearing their ugly heads................. Darn. :Cone of shame:

Heh -- I messed up on that, and it's why "the other robot with Rung" is a little unclear.
I *totally* thought it was Fort Max when I saw the drawing.
But it's Red Alert.

Yup! I have the comic where Max goes to see Rung, and then starts shooting everyone who reminded him of overlord, takes Rung and Whirl hostage, and so on and so forth. I like the patient in the picture to be Max to! It reminds me of that comic.
