Description This was an assignment from school, we were to take a known painting and make an modern version of it. However we wanted it to be. I went with an tattoo type style with Mexican skulls.

It is muertos. I made plenty of different sketches for this task and didn't get the text right on the last one. I did my research to find out that el dia de los muertos is a holiday. Kinda like holloween, but different. They go to grave yards and pay there respect of family members. Traditions include building private altars honoring the deceased, using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts.

Is it muerto or muertos?

Seems like it should be "El dia De Los Muertos". Is Los used for plural?

In "The day of the dead" dead is plural.

Just curious.
