So this is my first ever contest entry. It's for [this club ].I worked so hard on this...
It took, like... a week. Not really. Like, four days. I needed so many reference pictures for Sara, her pose, the kimono... everything. But I really, really like the way it turned out.
Anyway... this is Sara Mudo from Angel Sanctuary. She is, like... beautiful beyond belief.

Ha ha. No, yes... Sorry. Watercolor pencils. I think they're, like... exactly like aquarelle pencils. I just have never really heard anyone but my watercolor teacher use that term before.

All of Kaori Yuki's characters are gorgeous, but I think there are few who can draw as well as her. She's so talented! D': It's just not fair...

I do want to borrow Cain Saga and Godchild from a friend of mine though. And I saw Fairy Cube in Borders once and I was really close to buying all three volumes... But I didn't. And I regret it.

There are a few I still have to read too. I've read Angel Sanctuary, and Count Cain/God Child. You should definitely read them. It starts out with a bunch of short stories, but later on, we find out more about the life of Cain, supplementary characters and well, Cain's father doing everything to make his life as miserable as possible. I've also read Fairy Cube. Confusing, but cute characters, and Niji. Didn't really get the whole plot of that one. But again, cute characters! ^_^ Also, try to get your hands on Boys Next Door. Lawrence is just too adorable.

I just simply love how you coloured this <3 Everything is so colourful, I love the the lines of light twirling around her and the colour tones going on in the background in general. You done awesome with the kimono and the details of the fan she's holding, definately worth those days making it. Goodluck with the contest too

SARA! her and her awesome brother... ooooh, scandal. i should read those again. but then i stop doing other things in real life until i finish with all of them and...it gets bad. i dont know.
but i like this a lot. i think it has the whole "sara" look going on. and the color is beautiful. i really like the purple and the blue together. its so lovely. and her fan is pretty intense. i can basically feel the little fabric of those fans. yay.

Can I borrow those again someday? Whenever I get a job at a bookstore I want to be reading those and when a customer walks up to my desk I can slam the book down, roll my head around, and ask, "Whaaaat do you waaaant?"
