Ohm

Also known as Aum or Om, The sound of creation (Pranava in Sanskrit – Primordial sound). This mantra is seen primarily in Hinduism and Buddhism.

Various interpretations of Aum:

Deities of the Hindu Trinity:
Brahma – God of creation
Vishnu – Maintains the balance of the universe
Shiva – God of destruction.

Three psychological states of consciousness: Waking, dreaming and sleeping

The three planes of existence: Heaven, earth and netherworld

Symbolizes the ultimate reality where everyone and everything is beyond individualization. The realization of no-self = nirvana

At the moment I’m drafting out various designs, which I’ll post up later on. This is probably more simplistic than what I had in mind. Though having too much clutter would distract from its meaning. In the end I’ll choose one the permanently sink into my skin.

tools: .3 mech pencil, Black Plaka, bristol, brush 4 round (camel hair or something I don't know)
