My main painting for the Surrealism class I took this week. I call it the Light Bat, but it's title is 'Tangled in Technology.' My instructor calls it a spider >3>; But he likes it! And I am proud of it, 'cause it's my second time EVER using acrylics. @_@; Sorry for the glare on the side, when I can I'll upload a better picture.

THe inspriation for this came from a tiny doodle made after thinking for over an hour of what to do. The painting itself took prolly 6 hours, take off an hour or so for sketching it over onto the canvas. There was supposed to be text, but I decided not to include it. >3>;

Acrylics are bloody evil. D: Mixing colours again and again... then running out of some and having to re mix it and spending forever trying to match. That's the cause of the inconsistencies of the BG. Photoshop is my friend. <3
Though acrylics are more satisfying... might buy meself some sometime. Used only reds and yellows, though the BG was originally green. >3>;

The wires (thin red bits) hanging from the wings were inspired by the ribbons =TotenVeloren draws on her characters' wings. The wires were originally just hanging from the middle bit, but I like Toten's ribbons and they added to the 'tangled' bit of the title. ^^

Light Bat belongs to me. Kekeke. :B I think it'd make a good random monster.
