Our first session Campout. Our young trainers set out on their adventure, starting on route 29, where they encounter some wild pokemon and some eager trainers who want to fight. Ethan and Shiyne spot some nocturnal pokemon that arent normally out especially on the route, and let the others know so that the whole team can try to catch some.
Ethan beats down a Murkrow, but feels bad, and offers to let Asajt have a chance at catching it. Instead, he offers the small bird a helping hand and a potion. Asajt tames the Murkrow, now called Riverside, and learns that hes a very lucky little bird. Later, Ethan manages to spot and catch one of the rare 'shiny' variants of the bird, naming him Thanatos. The party is ambushed further down the route by an enraged Sneasel. With the help of her new friends, Iris is able to calm and catch the Sneasel. They report their findings to Professor MJ.
They spot a shining light coming from the Dark Cave up ahead, and decide they need to check it out. But, the fight with their new unwilling teammate had left them all wiped out. As the group heads up to route further towards Cherrygrove in an attempt to find a Pokemon Center, an Ace Trainer named Maya calls them out for a battle to make sure theyre ready to venture further. Ethan accepts, and manages to beat her. He gets her phone number, as well as some cash, and an invitation to camp out with her for the evening.
While setting up camp, Shiyne goes out for a while to search for her own rare pokemon. She doesnt find one, but does come back with a small Zubat she calls Louis.
While camping, the group shares a few different bowls, and talk about their families, kindle friendly rivalries, and learn more about their new companions. They end the night on a high note, before getting ready to continue their way forward towards Cherrygrove.
