Description
I'd had this colored for a long(ish) time just sitting in the corner of a folder, so I took it out a while back to shade it. Then I pushed it back where it'd been, and last week decided to add a background. Just like that. Amazing.

This is the character, still officially unnamed but casually called Yakov, that I originally created with the intention of shoving him into the Finnish forum RPG called Daisyland, but as per usual never got that far. I've still come up with these headcanons of what he'd be like and where he'd belong in the town, though. This picture would be set in the time between him losing his brother, the only family he had, and him growing up to be a very dominant, short tempered prick.

Puppies (and females) in the town aren't exactly looked kindly upon, so they'd often starve or freeze to death. I imagine low-born adolescents would still have trouble fitting in after being pushed aside for their whole lives, so they'd have a hard time trying to make their way up the pecking order and they wouldn't have the easiest time getting food, among other things. A lot of fights would erupt, probably.

The lower teeth bother me because they're aligned forward too much, but I'm too lazy to fix them. Eh. Someone teach me how to draw better paws.
