Thought I'd upload some photographs I've taken of my dad's dog, Sulo, a bernese mountain dog. He's three months to two years old at the moment, but this photo was taken in October 2015, and he was just a few months past one year old!

He's been through a lot in these first few years of his life, with inflammations and antibiotics leading to internal parasites (lungs, heart, intestines, and lately esophagus), and he's been near death at least once because of them. It's still unknown whether he had the first parasite since birth (from his mother) or if it was from external sources (beware of fox pee, they carry lung worms!), and determining it is close to impossible.

He's been doing better lately, but the worm in his throat clearly bothers him. Hopefully it'll be gone soon as well, like the others before it. They've had such bad luck it's incredible, and I sincerely hope this'll be the last of it.
