There's a suicidal feeling in this to me. Something about the pose and the intertwining fabrics. There's a numbness about her. And I love that she's by open windows with the sun lighting the room. That contrasting element makes the piece more powerful.

this is my favorite from this series. there's something about the random, scattered, loose pose that i really like and the angle is so unique. and the scarf wrapped around her neck and grazing her face is just beautiful. it looks like she doesn't have a care in the world.
