i was just playing around with this photo and i thought i would show you guys a sample from the photoshoot we did wednesday.

this is a collaborative project with the ever-popular xox-vintage .

this is my costume/bad modeling/year-old, highly-anticipated concept, combined with her artistic vision/wonderful camera/technical genius.

i LOVE what we have done so far. i hope you do, too.

Aww, thanks . I did photography for one year in school so I haven't done a real photoshoot in a couple years, it was really fun!

Ahhh Amanda what effect did you use?! It really looks like a movie still. Loving the grainy-ness. And the title in a light opacity looks so good too. I feel like we could make a film pf Adrian. Thank you also for the nice comment. And pish posh bad modeling, you did so good! You barely had to be told what to do because you knew your character and did her actions and expressions so well that my friend equals good modeling. I'm so glad we went up to this house because it really looks late 1970s, it just suits the movie. Can't wait to take more photos! This is a fun project you thought of. P.S. Watched the last Rocky!

lol, thanks!! I hope you liked the last Rocky, I think it might be Billy's favourite, he goes on about the speech he gives to his son at the end, and how it all ties together, etc... I think the first one will always be my favourite.

Anyways, I don't 100% know what I did to make this photo like this.... I really like a lot of the ones you did but I don't know how you did those either . I pretty much played with the levels, exposure, i thiiink saturation, and then i added 'noise,' but only enough to make it a little grainy. That stuff can get too overpowering sometimes!

Actually the last Rocky I wasn't too fond of. It was so new and I watched it on my uncle's Plasma tv and it was so in your face and well..new looking. I miss the old ones, and like you the first is just the best. It was nice to watch and all but it was my least favourite. Half the time I had no idea what any of the actors were murmuring. My uncle's understood more than me and I speak better English. Billy liked it the most? Interesting, and yes that speech is quite uplifting.

Whatever you did to this photo, keep this effect going because it's really nice. Yeah the noise can go wacko sometimes, it starts to look like snow on t.v. I'm going to try to edit some this week and want to take more photos soon, because if it was as much as an adventure that time then in Toronto it might get even crazier.

p.s. I totally agree about it looking too new. The old ones had a really great feel to them, I really didn't like how updated it looked, with the sports channels and digital whatnots...

Makes the photo shoots so much more exciting. Yeah the sports channel..even the actual fighting ring had all these ads or whatever on it that ruined it.
