Really, I don't know. this picture sorta happened, i was thinking about zombies and things and Myst and IFS and what happens to characters when they're put away for good. maybe they just sort of moulder in a suitable environment that their personality keeps for them in my head, such as an extra-dimensional version of Madison Institute for this screwloosey John. i think that no matter how crazy, John Mereii lives in a permanent hyperattentive state of needing answers for life's great unfairnesses (life's great unfairnesses to HIM, anyway) and might soon realise that he was nothing more than the prose-created plaything of a sadistic twenty-year-old. and then in retaliation he'd... get dead wasps tangled in his hair. uh, as i said, i'm not sure.
thistles, wasps, feather, leaves, a fishhook... and that poor mouse. ug, he looks like he's been stored in a shed.
