Why I think Hikari and Takeru were married at the end?Well, I do not think, I know. I could name a million
reasons, but I only concentrate on 3:
1) After of Final of Digimon 02, Toei released this poster: [link] you see? Hikari and Takeru holding hands, plus they are
grouped so as to see the future pairings (Yamato and Sora, Miyako and Ken).
2) "Focus"[link] and "Reflection"[link] songs. If Takari was something imagined by the fandom or not stayed together in the end,
would be irrelevant to Toei perform those songs.
Even "Reflection", Hikari's song was released AFTER Digimon Tamers.
3) Their children are identical, especially in the hair, but one of them it has more
orderly as Hikari and another more disheveled as Takeru. In fact, I would bet are non-identical twins.

¿Porqué creo que Hikari y Takeru se casaron al final?
Bueno, la verdad no lo creo, lo sé. Yo podría nombrar un millon
de razones, pero solo me centraré en 3:
1) Después del Final de 02, Toei lanzó este poster: [link]
lo ven? Hikari y Takeru tomados de la mano , además ellos están agrupados de forma que se vean las futuras parejas
(Yamato con Sora y Miyako con Ken)
2) Las canciones Focus [link] y Reflection [link] Si el Takari finalmente fue algo imaginado por el fandom o no quedaron
juntos al final, sería irrelevante para Toei realizar dichas canciones.
Incluso Reflection, la canción de Hikari fue lanzada DESPUES de Digimon Tamers.
3) Sus hijos son identicos, sobre todo en el cabello, solo que uno lo tiene más ordenado como Hikari y el otro
más despeinado como Takeru. De hecho, yo apostaría a que son mellizos. [link] [link]

I like to think that Takeru and Hikari did marry but were separated due to some marital problems that they were having. While the children were playing, Miayko talked to the two about their problems. With her help, Takeru and Hikari were able to talk things over and reconcile.

Después de quince años esta pareja me sigue atormentando, aún no se porque no sucedió. Es decir, todo apuntaba a que serian más que amigos: ambos fueron veteranos de la primera serie, tenían compañeros que digi-evolucionaban a ángeles, además de que redescubrian sus crestas de poder al mismo tiempo, ambos tenían personalidades tiernas y amables para enmascarar las traumáticas experiencias que habían sufrido en el digimundo, sin hablar de que tuvieron una película y un episodio de la serie solo para demostrar lo mucho que se apreciaban y eran buenos amigos, y por si fuera poco un "dios" digimon les dijo que sus símbolos (la esperanza y la luz) eran mucho más especiales que los del resto. Y que obtenemos: nada. Espero que en esta próxima serie que va a salir hagan algo, porque sino rodaran cabezas, lo juró.

Si no se casaban, está claro que alguna relación tuvieron que tener. Aún recuerdo el capítulo en el que Kari desapareció y TK se puso a buscarla como loco, fue tan asdasd *^*

Es que esta oficialmete dicho que Takeru y Hikari son pareja cannon como Miyako con Ken, Sora con Matt y Mimi con Joe XD
la ultima es algo asombrosa jajaja
pero solo en el final Japones de 02 Takeru dice algo no recuerdo en que parte: "y ahi esta mi esposa y mi hijo" mencionando a Hikari y su hijo ^^
Yo creia que Hikari se quedaria con Daisuke pero hace poco volvi a ver la pelicula de Digimon 2000 y Hikari describe a Daisuke: igual de extrovertido que Taichi e insoportable conclusion el pobre Daisuke acabo FOREVER ALONE :S

I like the thought of their kids being unidentical twins. One of the things that kept making this pairing so difficult for me was their kids being so close in age -- I kept thinking, only a few months apart at most. There's no way Kari could have had two kids in so short a time XD, but the twin theory is a really good one. I'm gonna steal it and ship this ship to the end!

I think that has been told only about Ken and Mijako's wedding because to Takeru told than they are engaged in the future, and Mijako's role - mother. About Yamato and Sora it is told nothing, but that that they pair - too is clear.

They did a Filipino English redubbed version of this series, this time using the characters original names. And on the final episode of the 2nd season during the epilogue, Tai's son called TK "Uncle Takeru". This makes TK married to Kari.

Buen trabajo me gusto mucho, creo que hay MUCHA evidencia de que TK(Takeru) se caso con Kari, incluso esa pareja tiene un episodio para ellos nada más cosa que ninguna otra pareja tiene. Además las canciones y el poster son para dejarlo más claro, incluso los productores nunca negaron la pareja, como hicieron con otras. Para mi que si se casaron y con los niños lo de gemelos no identicos me queda con duda, pero que son hermanos lo son.

Excelente trabajo, me gusto bastante, yo creo (como medio mundo que vio digimon) que TK al final se casa con Kari, además agregando lo que dijiste tiene más sentido, tienes razón en el pelo se parece los hijos de ellos. El final nos quieren torturar con las parejas para dejar el suspenso con los fans. Además la version traducida tiene variantes de la original tal vez no quisieron ponerlo.

In the Japanese version Takeru and Hikari DO get married.
LOOKIES EVERYONE:
Takeru says there that it has been 25 years and he married Hikari. I didn't believed it at first but when Takeru came to meet up with everyone, Yagami Taichi's son told his dad "otoosan mite mite, arewa Takeru ojisan!" (Look dad, it's UNCLE Takeru!) I was surprised by this because here in Japan we call our uncles a relatively way (it means that Taichi's son is Takeru's nephew. How did he became Takeru's nephew? He married Hikari that's why they are now brothers-in-law).
It's not yet over, the other proof of Takari was Tailmon's words! When Takeru arrived at their meeting place and met up with everyone, Tailmon told Hikari "Hikari-chan, anata no danna san mou iru." (Hikari-chan, your husband's here.) Then Takeru and their son (the blond haired boy) walked over to Hikari and their son (the pinked haired boy) and the boy said "otoosan, oniichan!" (Father, big brother!).
