This is a teaser for a shoot I did with Jenni last Monday. I felt so bad for her as I was really exhausted and was feeling rather self concious (not having a chance to get to the gym makes me pretty miserable but shooting topless) and was doing a terrible job of hiding it. I was so grumpy at myself. As a professional I should be able to push past this but my success rate did drop a fair bit. Mind you, I do have a very high success rate usually (I have people complaining to me that it makes choosing too hard) so at least this wasn't too bad. And at least I did mighty spiffy makeup. I'm quite proud of this set.

At any rate, a few days after this shoot, it was still bothering me that I hadn't been able to put on a good performance and I sat down to write to `jennipenny to thank her. Just then, my sister knocked on the door with a parcel. Jenni had sent me beautiful gifts as a thankyou for shooting when I was so tired! She is just such a gem! She is a delight to be around and to work with. Being a beautifully talented photographer just seems to be an added bargin!


So once again, Miss Jenni, I am sorry but thankyou so much for the love! I was mighty touched. Be safe in the US and have an amazing time!

Ehm I have some objections about the lighting and about the pose here (looks like you are about to fall)
but I guess you don't expect me to give you only positive feedback, right?

I thought you were tired, not your usual spiffy self - it's allowed though, you can't be expected to be an Energizer bunny 24x7!! You are such a fine example and role model for other models though - just the fact that it bothered you is a great indicator of your professionalism and dedication to the best possible outcome - brilliant!!

As for the gym/self-conscious stuff, I know I can't convince you (I've never been able to convince a woman on this point ever) - *eye roll*, what have you got to be worried about???

Keep up the great work deary - try and remember to rest a little?? Hmmmm??

Oohh this is cool! I cant wait to see the shots once I get home you did very well on the makeup. I agree with the first comment, your lips look like candies. And you shouldn't feel bad about being tired I also cant comprehend how some on with a figure like yours can feel self conscious

yeah I wrote to her and she said she would be working 24/7 and have no time for photography while she was over there... bummer because Owen is a great photographer of the nude, he does workshops at Edward Weston's place and is a good friend of Kim's as well lovely old feller. She also said she wouldnt be submitting work to the Muswellbrook Photographic Award either which is a bugger... I have been trying to encourage artists from DA to submit.. but yeah may get some, I hope so I am trying to open up the field a bit for the exhibition as it has become rather regionalised of late

Haha, not fail, just means you get to re-try. I've been doing crazy makeup for a fair while but this was probably one of my best efforts yet.

Hehe your lips look exceptionally candied.. They remind me of the sweet shop at Sovereign Hill!And you always look amazing so chin up kid ! Exercise definitely has an effect both on endorphins and energy levels so get to it even if you don't got time for the gym!!
