Description
This trooper's role in the war is to go in first, a vanguard of sorts, disrupt the enemy with quick strikes and brute force before the main army attack. Equipped with everything from sub-machine gun type blasters to heavy repeating blasters and anti-vehicular weaponry, they work in a similar manner to ARC troopers but with less autonomy and attitude. Often tasked with sabotaging enemy weapon emplacements, shields, radar and anything else to give the Republics forces an advantage. This trooper is the vanguard for the 184th legion, led by Clone Commander Zmeya.Related content

Sooooo this is like a clone trooper insurgency against the Empire in your head canon? Is that why they avoid wearing white? To differentiate?

These fellows are like a the step below republic commando's, similar training and tactics but not as efficent and the armour colouring is like their distinctive unit insignia and camouflage. Other units that still use the white base with unit specific colouring seem to suffer higher casualties than those that chose to drop it. I did read somewhere that the Empire had it's stormtroopers wear white armour so that they'd be noticed and camo would be useless when they seem to charge headlong into battle.

Honestly, if you change the helmet, it makes me think he's from Halo, which is pretty badass. Could you imagine? Clone troopers made my the UNSC fighting alongside Halo Spartans against the Covenant? Man that would be badass.
