And by the time I've taped/papered the handle to it, the hilt loses that magically round shape it had before.*sigh*
Yes, I'm using string for the vine design and no I'm not doing the design on the hilt as I cannot find a good enough picture for reference.

I'm constantly forgetting which part is the hilt (is it the bit just between the blade and the handle? Or is it the red piece of metal with the vines on it, that stretches out onto the blade?) Either way, I'm willing to help (because it's Red Queen!), so these were the best images I could find (was looking for a direct game model, but beggars can't be choosers); hope they help
