Description Hankusu are interesting because there's so much detail in one flower, and you can just get lost examining the fabric from one petal to the next. Also, for this pic, you can see more detail of the kimono fabric. ♥ So pretty fabric...! ♥ I used no less than 3 small selections of different kimono~

thank you!

haha, this kind of color combination "koi" or "shibui" by my Japanese friends. A comment I'm not sure how to interpret-- pastels are way more in-style, or eye-popping Vibrant colors for kimono...
or the many muted-shades of purple, pink, and dark navy (again for kimono). Sometimes I think they say "shibui" because they have no words or associations with darker, more mature colors....eh, cultural difference, I guess. And the fact that this was in fact a kimono before means someone else agrees with my color choices.

Hmmm... I think adjective-wise, I would say this is "rich", "decadent", "deep" or "more sensual" etc. than the others, which I would describe as "bright", "lively", "full of colour", etc.
