Remodelling (90%) and redesign (50%) my old work "Robot-miner". I did this robot for an unannounced project. Inspired by: Aaron Beck and Vitaly Bulgarov.Related content

I love this particular style of robot, the kind that have a somewhat modern, not-too-distant-future look similar to automotive factory robots or military drones, composed of largely solid blocks and cylinders connected with simple joints and pneumatic pistons, with some parts sheathed in waterproof "skin". They may have humanoid designs, but they are made with function over form first and foremost. I wish this style had some kind of name, similar to "steampunk" or "retrofuturistic".

Just looked him up- yeah, that's definitely it! I'll have to keep that name in mind, though I think I wanna call this style something more standalone rather than someone's name.
