This is a beautiful technique! What type of paper do you use?
I'm an art student at the Art Inst, and I'm trying to find my niche in the painting world. This may sound like a dumb question (my brain is on brain fart mode at the moment), but when people say it's done in "ink", does that just mean like a regular pen? Or is it something special?

:]Thank you! I usually use a craft card with a high gsm (weight) but a good thin paper can do just as well...
I choose my card/paper more by doing a 'spot' check to see if it reacts badly to the paint/colour that I'm going to use - if a drop bleeds into the fibres, it's too rough ... or sits weirdly on top, it's too waxy. Each colour from the same set of paints can react differently on the same piece of paper so I check each colour that I'm planning to use (and I always tape the paper/card down to prevent the bends!) 
As for the ink part, for me it's fineliners and cd markers (I like the alcohol in them as it reduces the pen streaks) occasionally it's an ink fountain pen, but I think 'ink' is just a generalized term so go with whatever is more comfortable! :]

Great colours, the bright and detailed backround is contrasted against nicely by the thick black lines. It almost has a "stained glass" effect...It would look great when the light passed through and casted the same image on the ground.
