Description
A sort of "official artwork" of my fancharacter, Echo, in her second armour. Below is a basic profile for Echo with spoilers removed as she is a character in my fanfiction series, Maverick Wars.Tools: Pencil (initial sketch) Paint Tools SAI (lines and colours) and Photoshop (finishing)

Equipment:
- Basic Energy Sword (temporary) - a standard issued energy beam sword. Used until the E-Glaive was obtained;
- E-Glaive V2 - a double-sided glaive with energy blades. It was built and given to her by Nikolas Kirov after the original was destroyed.
Skills/Techniques:
- DNA Copy - allows Echo to transform into enemies whose DNA she has copied. Like all prototypes, she faces the same limitations and restrictions as Axl;
- DNA Shift - a unique ability that allows Echo to modify DNA by switching and rearranging different traits between two (or possibly more) different DNA sets. Although originally used to change her armour's colours, by Maverick Wars II it can be used to "shift" elements between weapons and possibly transform using partial DNA copies;
- Virus Immunity - thanks to the DNA changing properties of the copy chip, Echo, like all other New Generation Reploids, is immune to all viruses and prevents her from going maverick in this manner.
Background:
Echo is the 26th New Generation Prototype (Beta Series) created after the "original" Prototype, Alphie (NGR-PROTO-0B00). By the time Echo was being built, production was beginning to shift to mass-produced New Generation Reploids in preparation for a collaborative project between the New Generation Research Facility and several World Governments later known as the Jakob Project.
However, Echo was never supposed to be a New Generation Reploid - her designers, Dr. Estelle Kirov and Nikolas Kirov, had designed her to be a replacement for a child the couple had lost prematurely. Her blueprints and AI notes were all completed, all the two needed was the money to build their child. Estelle worked as a freelancer, sending in Reploid designs to different labs and companies (a large majority going to the Facility where New Generation Reploids were being produced). Echo's blueprints and AI notes were accidentally mixed in with several other Reploid designs to the Facility, and Echo's design was selected by Professor Chuck Dawson to be built as he was interested in "blank slate" personalities and was curious if a Reploid could develop a "self" for itself like human children do.
After an incident, Echo ends up joining the Maverick Hunters in Maverick Wars II. She acquires this armour during her time as a Maverick Hunter.
Personality:
- OPENNESS TO EXPERIENCE - Echo is curious by nature, being built without the general knowledge most Reploids possess upon activation. As such, she is always looking for adventure, and even if there is none she will make her own.
- CONSCIENTIOUSNESS - Despite her spontaneous nature, Echo is decently organized and known to put together a plan when needed. She is also known to be very focused when working. If she is asked to do something, she will make sure she does it within a reasonable timeframe and won't forget a favour asked of her.
- EXTROVERSION - Echo loves being around other people, always talking and always involving others in plans and such. She socializes with others very easily.
- AGREEABLENESS - Echo shows compassion and empathy towards others, and will never turn down a favour asked of her. She tends to be over-trusting, preferring to think that everyone has good in them and that the world is not an evil place.
- NEUROTICISM - Echo tends to be very stable and difficult to phase in uncomfortable situations, but this does not mean she is immune. Extreme situations can lead to emotional breakdown (as expected). Otherwise, Echo is a stable and confident person.
Trivia:
- Echo is the fifth iteration of my original fan character, Erika, and shares that name as her "true name" in homage.
