Now, on to the encouraged advanced critique. I really do like the take on the energy strands connecting the axeblade to his arm. Really like the textured brushes for the highlights on his armor.
I think my main crit would be that I'd personally find some way to emphasize the highlights on his tusks. I'd try making the background a bit darker -- at the moment, it's about the same value as his foreground colors, so he's not really popping like he should be.
