This is my entry to contest. The theme was to gender bend one or more of her female characters (which means to draw them as a guy).
I chose Airi [link] who has pink and brown hair Why not challenge yourself, right?
Airi is a deaf character who is able to hear through her headphones. In another picture of Airi, you will see a different weapon that looks like a cross strung by beads- belonging to Lone, which I put as a tattoo under his shirt.
The tattoo I placed on his neck are musical notes which have similar meanings to "silence" and "pause" in music. Since she doesn't speak much and is deaf without the headphones, I figured the tattoo would be meaningful to her character as a male.
The music in the background is obvious xD He loves music And I chose this version of Airi because I thought the scepter looked great and I wanted to include it- though when it came time to color... I couldn't get onto the page.. so I had to try from memory >.<
So here is punked out male version Airi, who I will call Airin. (His design will be recolored for my own oc.. I like his hair and face xD lol)
