I drew Cure Happy for a survey participant prize, and since I like Precure designs as a group so much I ended up drawing the other characters as well.On tumblr here .

smile pretty cure has an english dub. though saban gave the dub a terrible name and it is a terrible dub,it is still an english dub. talking about bad dubs is no longer about 4kids and is now about saban.

okay, great designs and all but i gotta rant:
why,why,why?? why did they make the name outside of japan "glitter force"?Β
and why did they change the names? i don't remember the names exactly, i think the names were Miyuki, Yayoi and Sayori, correct me if i'm wrong, and i don't know about the english dub, but in the hebrew dubs, in both this and Doki Doki precure, they changed the names to; Rachel, Maya, Lily, Emily, April, and Kate
why? why? like they try to change the show to make it seem like it takes place in israel. are they doing the bad 90s dubs thing where they try to pretend that the shows are set in the country it's airing even though its obviously not?Β
like, they dumb it down so much, to the point where the backstory of one of the characters, who his daughter died, they changed it to : 'she fell asleep and didnt wake up'
i just hate hebrew dubs
i do like precure, i think its WAY better than sailor moon but not as good as Madoka Magica. it's a fun show with cute animation and like able characters. but i just hate the dubs!Β

I don't have much problem with renaming the show from 'Precure' to 'Glitter Force' since 'Precure' does sound a little silly in English as far as I can tell, but the way the dubs try to pretend the show doesn't take place in Japan has always bothered me. It comes across as arrogant or underestimating the audience to me.

Cure Sunny: Mono-fire, Sunny Day (Lead: Blaziken)
Cure Peace: Electric, Overleveled Pikachu (like Red) (Lead: Alolan Raichu)
Cure March: Flying, High speed pokemon (Lead: Tornadus)
Cure Breeze: Ice, Hail (Lead: Alolan Ninetails)
