Lambert and his mum (from adorable Disney short Lambert the Sheepish Lion) with Chirin (from the kinda depressing film Chirin's Bell AKA Chirin no Suzu).

Because Lambert the Sheepish Lion is like Chirin's Bell gone right*, and someone needed to give Chirin a hug, so! Sheep-themed animation crossover.

(Why a Chirin developed bull horns instead of something sheepy, like the classic curly horns, is not explained!)

* The scene in each where the titular character approaches their mother are so alike that, combined with the numerous other similarities, I'm tempted to say one inspired the other. Yet I've only just realised that Chirin's Bell was release in 1978, 26 years after the Disney short, and it surprises me that it would have happened in that order! Maybe there's some joint inspiration somewhere.
