A portrait study, based on this beautiful photo by Ceecore ... I love his work on colour and light.

My goal here was mainly to study how light reflects on hair... I often tend to use too high a local value contrast when painting hair (when painting a lot of things, actually... but I'm working on it!), so I allowed myself to spend much longer on this portrait than I usually do. The hair alone took me about two hours, but I'm quite satisfied with the result ^^
