horrible memories of water going up and down, i kinda sorta did the temple systematically, doing everything on each water level and then going back to the first.

boy, how I despised that fucking water temple... I tried everything, but hat stupid rock wouldn't disappear, though I played the hymn of time, in the end I was so mad that I paused the game for whole year

I think it's actually easier on the 3ds. I always had hours on that stupd temple on the n64. But on the ds i got through within half an hour. (And the masterquest-water temple is somehow easier for me.. xD)

Oh, man... I was on the phone when I reached the Water Temple. I was warned about it upon the approach. I should've known something was up with how the entire experience can be summed up in how you actually get inside. It took a while before the realization actually sunk in.
As a matter of fact, Miyamoto actually apologized for this dungeon. I can see why. Constantly flipping through the menu and being centered in a layered room where all the walls look the same just doesn't work.

I didnΒ΄t found the water temple hard... just sort of annoying, because always when I finallyx found a key and openmed the door, there was yet another locked door. Maybe they made it easier?

hm, i didn't know that you could go in a different order then what I did. It seemed like the game just sent me in the temples in a specific order. See, i went: Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, then Spirit.

Dude the water temple wasn't even that hard. It was just irritating because it took a long time but i admired the difficulty of the level because to me the other temples were way too easy compared to that one.
