Hi guys ;D I try to study industrial stuff for my sci fi related job. And I suck at the genre so much.
Anyway here's a 20 minutes bunny for
(sorry no guns, but I've added boobs instead) y_y

Hope it doesn't look to silly. Any ideas, help or inspirations? I would love to know more about sci fi

Good job with the mechy pattern - it has a nice dirty and greasy look to it and the purple lighting is great. I like the loose wires, that stuff is good.

If you feel retarded with guns, that's the best indicator that you should just start massing gun drawings. Therefore I demand more dirty, greasy, mecha stuff with GUNS!

I think you're doing a great job and do not need help or inspiration.

If you REALLY want to see how others have done things check out Masamune Shirow. His work is amazing.
Yasushi Nirasawa is also awesome. So is Geoff Darrow.

Terada! I remember his females, I do not remember technology...I'll have to look again.

I have the Shirow art collections, and a Nirasawa book.
I'm not sure I have a Terada book.

Anything that's cool? Hmm, let's see. There's so much in sci-fi that you could draw. Humans melding with machines like cyborgs or augmented bodies, human 2.0. With vehicles you could make space craft types, or for more personal use, like hover cars. Weapons could be laser, plasma, or other energy-based weapons of the sort. And sci-fi also includes alien and fun stuff like that. For inspiration you could looks at movies, games and comic books of course. Would you like me to list some?

Don't mind me I'm going to throw a few series with lots of mechs/giant robots out there for you that might also help:

the "Zone of the Enders" games have lots of cool looking giant robots and spacey stuff
the "Xenosaga" games have spaceships, giant robots, androids, aliens, and a cyborg
the "Armored Core" games have a ton of giant robots and weapons
and you could always fall back on "Gundam"

Let's see, I'll list some.
Movies:
Star Wars - Of course hehe.
Prometheus - Interesting looking technology.
The Fifth Element - One of my favorite sci-fi movies.

Games:
Mass Effect - Amazing sci-fi games, plenty of aliens and technology to take inspiration from.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - A good look at human body agumentation.
Dead Space - More on the horror side, but still futuristic technology and aliens.
Halo - Worth a look, especially at the alien weapons.

oh helll 5th element! How could I forget about it. The singing diva was my favorite character. I haven't seen the new SW, I actually avoid movies coz these are boring, full of special effects :c
Halo and mass effect were my first inspirations since I got the artbooks. Uff so much to check out, thank you for your help.
