Description I finally had the guts to try yet ANOTHER 3D computer program. I tried Sculptris. I first wanted to model a female human face but I figured that since this is my first time, I'd do something I'm familiar with. I'll only let you guess once.

The photos are from the camera since I don't know how to capture an image on this new program (render). But I've got to say, this was extremely easy to get the hang of.

Looks great! Not heard of Sculptris before, but presume its a little like mudbox?

They look amazing - I find computers really tricky and I am totally baffled by my new graphics tablet.

This really looks fantastic! I'm always disappointed in video games when the horses look bad, but I could be pleased seeing this in some kind of game. Good work!

Thanks It's really easy. This one maybe took me about 3 hours. But that includes figuring it out.

that's good for being your first model with this program. The ears and nostrils, especially, have some good full shapes.

Probably the best step to take next is to study horse anatomy in-depth. I remember when I was first modeling I just did a lot of experimenting, trying to see what would look good. But really it is far more effective and enjoyable to have a 3d conception in your head of the major anatomical forms. I have a ton of books on human anatomy that I have studied extensively, and so I would recommend doing the same for horse anatomy, if you can find a good book.

Thank you. Maybe I'll give it a go, I really need to work on creating characters and human anatomy. But I'll definitely study horse anatomy more extensively.
