Agh forcing myself to post this super sketchy thing. This page is me trying to figure out what my dear old oc's face looks like these days.About this character:
An elf has the potential to live for a very long time. The centuries shine in their rich memories, but it is not so for Taronci. He was born with a sickness that lowers his life expectancy dramatically. All the numerous and more or less invasive treatments he has been going through since early childhood have failed to heal him.
Taro's story is about living with chronic pain, self-disgust and hopefully self-acceptance. He needs to find out what he /can/ and what he /should/ do with his limited time. Thankfully he meets some interesting folks along the way.
I have been playing Monster Hunter World with him as my hunter. There is something inherently satisfying seeing the cougher agonizingly conquer the challenges ahead. Plus I blame all of my reckless and bad gameplay on him :^)
A sharp hunter's eye might be able to tell what armor set that lowest mess is haha.

Although it looks busy, it looks "Happy" ... "Busy hands are happy hands"

My sketches tend to have this scratchy look because i am searching for the form a bit too urgently. I need to improve on picturing my line before actually drawing it. Art is definitely a journey of discovering your strengths and weaknesses all the way through.

I can say that it’s a beautiful summer here, but as Mississippi’s environment is, it is also very hot, humid, and muggy.
I can understand that. I’m sure that you’re doing great in developing techniques.
As for me, I’ve been doing alright. Been busy with work and working on building my house. My novel has been in progress, slowly but surely. However, it’s been on pause for now as I’ve been working developing technique of my own as I’ve been working with fanfiction on Legend of Zelda.

I've missed you too! It's so nice to hear from you. Hopefully the housebuilding and novel are turning out well. Both huge projects. Be sure to take some breathers every now and then my friend.
It's the prettiest summer in years here. The days are long and full of light. Hard to fall asleep when the sky looks like afternoon even in the middle of the night. That kind of rhymed haha.
Oh I wasn't aware you were a fan of Legend of Zelda! I don't usually read stories of games, but now I definitely need to take a close look at your fanfiction.

Yeah. In terms of fan art, I’ve always viewed it as a literal “playground” for High Fantasy artists.

Currently, I have two folders in my gallery, “Chronicles of a Legend” and “A Shade of Time”
They both have a folder each in my gallery.
“Chronicles of a Legend” more or less characterizes the Tales of the Legends of Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Twilight Princess, and Breath of the Wild in a concise narrative. It branches as three parts as it focuses on the roles and stories of the three Triforce holders. It’s a little rough, and needs polishing from some typographical errors. But it works.
“A Shade of Time” is my current work in progress as I attempt to novelize the story of the Hero of Time in what happens as he becomes the Shade and how his story reaches a close . I am currently working on chapter VI. ... It’s first draft material, so the structure, particularly dialogue format, maybe a little rough.
It is written accordance with “Chronicles of a Legend”.
I would love to hear your feedback. 😊
