So, I got over-excited about this contest: [link] to design Nordanner tack and instead of completing the many many many things on my drawing to-do list I did this instead

For this set of tack I went for a very spanish/peruvian influence, and I had some fabulous inspirational pictures to work from (Like: [link] [link] [link] and [link] ) Seriously, look up Peruvian tack on google and it's some of the most beautiful tack I've seen in my life

For this tack I went with a traditional approach. It has a padded seat for comfort over long distances, a tall cantle and pommel to keep the rider in their seat during high-action moments such as haute ecole or dragon hunting. There is also an optional fringed browband (seen in the full-body version) to keep debris and flies out of the horses' eyes. It's also a very decorative set of tack, with patterned saddle pad, silver plates, tassels, dangling silver jewels and lots and lots of etching into the leatherwork.

As far as the ability to customize this gear goes, the metal pieces can all have different shapes, etching and colors. The leather can be oiled to the preferred color and hue, and the saddle pad and seat can be any color.
