Description Taken on the Saturday of the Royal International Air Tattoo 2007, in Fairford, UK.

This is the infamous 'Stealth Fighter', which is in fact not a fighter at all, but more of a precision strike aircraft. It's quite a sight to behold - pretty quiet and doesn't quite look like it should actually fly, but it certainly does.

Wonderful photograph! I always prefered this aircraft to the F-22 :/ lol I really like the soft lighting.

Beautiful, despite being kinda "outdated" by today's stealth standards.

Nice shot. I was there on the saturday and this jet is certainly a crowd puller but i think it's a boring display. It's almost like after that one crashed in the states a couple of years ago when the tail snapped off it's like they don't want to put any strain on it, so it flies up and down a few times then lands. Whatever though at least it done a display unlike the sukhoi, what happened there, i wasn't in the airfield so i didn't hear what happened. Being an eastern european jet it probably ran out of feul. If you know what happened maybe you could let me know. Sorry about the long comment

The SU-35 (it was a 35, right?) was actually with the Indian Air Force. It was there on a joint training op with the RAF and it wasn't technically cleared to do a display, but they managed to get him to do a fly-by anyway, which was pretty cool

It was just nice to see the F117 fly at all. Shame there was no B2, though - I remember going in 2004 or something and they had both. I think they flew the B2, the F117 and the B1B within about a 20min slot.

A long lense, a steady hand and continuous shooting are the key to getting stuff like this
