Told I’ve failed in my profession
Spiraling
2-3 interviews a week
Hope?
Met with rejection
Spiraling
Unemployed for a month
Spiraling.
Came so close
Felt secure
Had this
I got this!
I looked ahead
I looked too far.
Spiraling.
3 glasses of wine
My head is a whirlpool
Nothing stays put for long.
Forgetting
But it doesn’t last
This is worse,
Everything comes back.
Mascara running
I can’t breathe anymore
I’m sorry, I’m failing.
I just can’t stop
I am spiraling.
