I was originally going to fully color this, but Roman Empire said NO. Curse you, Roman Empire!

Ah, so here it is! What I've been working on the last few days! It's a tribute to all of my favorite Hetalia characters~ (Though, technically, Greece should take Germany's place. They're 7. and 8. on my list... but I felt Germany just fit better.) I did this piece for a few reasons. 1) Episode 18 is the BEST episode and I love it and every time I watch it I crack up. 2) I wanted to do a tribute piece for my favorite characters and 3) There aren't any group pictures that sport only MY favorites.

It was hard to do. Germany fought me THE ENTIRE TIME. Grandpa Rome turned out as a Giant, which isn't so bad all things considered. He's not my absolute favorite character, but given that he's ROME, he had to be the center and he HAD to be big. Canada is actually my favorite character. He's absolute adorable! And I love him here. But my favorite in this picture has to be China. He just WORKS here. I didn't have any problem drawing him at all! As for the rest... for Canada I had to use a reference of America (which is fine, since they have the same face, but frustrating because it's Canada and not America.) and Russia... I redrew Russia 3 times... which pales in comparison with GERMANY. I hate Germany here. Curse you, Ludwig! Italy worked out fine, but I had real big problems with Sweden. He's only appeared in two episodes so far (not including the first one where he didn't even look like Sweden) so I had like, two references for him and I had to rewatch the episodes like forty times. I ended up making him not looking freaky enough, but I think it will be fine. He still looks like Sweden, right?

I ended up putting them in the outfits of theirs that I like best (aside from Sweden because I couldn't get good enough references of his other outfit) but I am NEVER drawing Roman Empire in that outfit again! NEVEEEEEEER! I would have been able to colour this if I would have put him in the outfit he wore during his night with Germany... sigh... The Roman one, not the random ass suit he magically changed into XD

Oh and yeah, Canada's hand missed his lips... but I thought he was absolutely ADORABLE like that. ~ Love you, Matthew!

Oh and forgive their hands... I so suck at drawing hands. I always have. I probably always will.
