Description
The sorta humanoid pokemon of the Yehaw region(aka the Lucario or Gardivoir of the region) Chiwarm and Chaxolo. They're based off the Aztec hearth fire deity, Chantico and two dogs native to Mexico, the chihuahua and the Xolo. Also, because they're based off a female deity, they're a female only pokemon. Also forgot to mention that they evolves through high friendship during the day.---
Chiwarm(Chihuahua + Warm)
The fiesty pup pokemon
type: Fire
Ability: Flame Body
Hidden Ability: Fairy Fire, fairy type moves have a chance to cause burns.
Chiwarm are small but known for their tenacity. They make loyal guard pokemon and will not hesitate to challenge opponents much larger than itself.
Chiwarm can warm it's body up from that of a cozy blanket, to a scorching hot fire. When it's ready to attack, small embers will flow from it's mouth every time it barks.

Chaxolo(Chantico + Xolo)
The hearth fire pokemon
type: Fire/Fairy
Ability: Flame Body
Hidden Ability: Fairy Fire, fairy type moves have a chance to cause burns.
While it make seem intimidating at first, Chaxolo are known for being very kind and nurturing to those it loves. If it finds hungry and lost baby pokemon, it with care for them. It will even use it's fire to roast berries until they're nice and soft for the baby to eat.
The gem in it's chest allows it to focus it's newfound fairy magic enough that it comes out in the form of roaring flames. While it can be compassionate and nurturing, it can also be terrifying if someone hurts their trainer or their young ones.

Honestly, it’s hard for me to imagine nurse joys without chansey, blissey or wigglytuff for me. Also, I feel like she’d be more helpful in soup kitchens because of it’s fire typing.
I headcanon that in the Pokémon universe, hospitals only have fairy and normal types because of health precautions. Like our own hospitals, they need strict guidelines to ensure the safety of patients.
This Pokémon is going to be an ace for one of the gym leaders in the region though.

They’re inspired by the Aztec goddess of the hearth fire, Chantico aka the goddess of cooking, family and togetherness. There’s also a bit of the Greek Goddess of the hearth fire, Hestia, in there as well. Those who hoped to provide for their families would worship her since that is what she represented.
